Announcements Gamemode Update

Hey traders! apologies for the radio silence, however, in apology, im back with a new buzzing gamemode update!
as part of our collaboration with our new Media partner MattyBee, we have released a new medieval survival roleplay!

... bee themed, of course. ( if you hadnt noticed )

You will spawn on our main island Honeycomb isle, where you can meet our friendly npcs, and some lodging if you wanted to, for a price; of course.
you'll have to go into the mines to get ores to sell to the Miner. or, you can just go to the port and jump into Honeycomb Isle.
Beelandia is where you can do whatever you wish to.
join a clan, go solo, build a house, buy a house on the port, collect materials,, go to war.. the options are endless!

Clans

Firstly i will talk about everything you can do in a clan. obviously, you dont have to be in a clan, but it is much more fun in a group for this gamemode!

Different clans can be found in different regions. unfortunately, they are limited availability depending on the amount of players. Clans are dynamic to where the more players on the gamemode, the more clan slots are opened. this means, if clan slots are maxed, they can become available the more people join the game, so keep an eye out if you want to form one!

Creating a clan
To create a clan, you will have to go to the Town Hall in Honeycomb isle and speak to the mayor. He will explain the amount of upkeep you will have to pay him to keep the land for your clan. more land = more money. Obviously, this would be a lot for a clan leader to do alone, developing your clan is a group effort. which is why you can introduce taxes for your members. this means, both members and non members ( people from your alliances! ) can rent areas set by clan roles, of course, with your permission, or whoever else you give power to. this will allow them to do anything there. just like with the rentable houses on the port and the main island. essentially, they can break stuff thats assigned to them. so dont worry about your clan members messing something important up, like building in areas that are purely decorative, such as if you want to introduce a town hall, or any other important clan buildings in the future.

Clan Information + Trade Routes
Clan leaders will be able to allocate jobs, and their members can apply for whatever job they'd like to have within the clan to earn a wage.
this can vary from farming, mining, building, or you can have higher up jobs who will have to work dealing with alliances, and issues within the clan

Trade routes for your allies will have to be created by you and the alliance you're forming, or you can employ people in your clan to create them for you.
after you have created a trade route, you will have to put in a request to staff to make it work.
there are two different trade options you can choose from. A horse drawn carriage/wagon, or a shipment across the sea. please be patient with
the creation of a trade route, as it may take some time. to save time, make your route look as clear and as nice as you can!

Clan Alliances, Nations and Enemies.
Forming an alliance with other clans will be important, as you need friends to help you out in sticky situations!
Regions in Honeycomb Isle will have different areas for different ores, so you will need to form friendships with others
if you want anything other than your nations ore.
Alliances can select a nation leader who they would like to rule over their main capital. the selected leader will then be able to create a nation.
be warned that if you have no available claim chunks, you will not be able to form a nation. Alliances will have to pay tax to their nation leader, and alliances clans can have a capital too. (do whatever you want to do really, we arent stopping you!) it is best that this nation is where you place an Embassy building. Embassy buildings can be used for meetings with your alliances, where you can form meetings to discuss trade routes and wars, or even discuss forming new alliances. alliances can be used to go to war against mutual selected enemies, and if they so wish, commit treason against their nation leader. so be warned that you will have to do your duties as a leader if you dont wish to be overthrown by your closest allies.

Nations can provide helpful potion, or beacon effects to all of its members if it is a high enough level. this will be permanent.
This can be helpful for many things, so it is important to create a nation as fast as you can! ( such as power boosts for wars )

Wars
Wars can only happen if it is consented by the two leaders of a clan, and also if the players from the other region ( at least 1) are
online. You can win a war if you conquer a big enough area. You will be able to overclaim their chunks if you destroy their power.
To destroy power, you will have to keep killing their members. once you destroy their claim, you can feel free to take whatever is in that area.
Surrendering is an option if you feel as if your clan is in trouble. however, surrendering will cost money. this will have to be discussed
with the clan you are at war with, as you will be paying them when you surrender. once you surrender, the war can be over.
if no party surrenders, the opposing clan can plunder your land, and claim it if they so choose. you will only lose the claims the opposing
party conquers, so you will not lose your clan.

Beelandia & Honeycomb Isle

The main island and the port of beelandia will include plenty of useful things for players.
you can rent houses or a hotel nearby the npcs you can sell things to. of course, these will be costly and will be available for a limited amount of days. if you wish to stay longer than the period given, you can extend your stay with more money.
Hotel rooms will cost less than houses on the port.

Renting a hotel/house
you will be able to rent hotels on honeycomb isle, which is where the blacksmith, the lumberjack, the miner, the fisherman, and the wizard stay.
this will be helpful to hold your items, and smelt ores which will be nearby the miner to sell closeby. its a small space, but it is enough to store your items. be warned that if your stay expires, items in chests and furniture will not be kept for the next time to rent. so empty your items beforehand.
The same goes for the houses on beelandia, however, the houses are much more costly.
the butcher and the farmer are located on beelandia.
houses will have different interiors depending on whether you buy the warehouse to safely store all your items, or the residential home. these can be upgraded 4 times including just buying an empty home to decorate freely.
this location is aimed for the most as it is on the port, and also very close to the area you can freely build and explore in. so be sure to get one whilst you can!

if you wish to add a friend to your hotel or home, you can, with /property addfriend {username} {property:id}.
this will allow you both to live there.

Lost & Found
If your rent expires and you still have items in your chest, your uncleared items will be sent to lost & found, where you can buy them back. but do not keep this as a failsafe, as other people can buy them too.
if you place your own blocks and they are not taken back by you, they will also be taken to lost and found.
To find lost and found, you will have to go to the town hall.

The Mine
The mine is an area you can get any and all resources from. it is not a recommended option, however it is good if you need quick cash to sell to the miner.
ores in the mine replenish once destroyed every 5 minutes, and resources in there are scarce. so be quick with what you wish to mine before another player gets it.
don't worry about other players stealing your ores either, as everything you mine will not drop to the ground and instead go straight into your inventory.

NPCS

Blacksmith:
The blacksmith will repair your worn out items and replenish them good as new, as well as selling luxury items, such as armour, tools, hoppers etc.

Miner:
The miner will buy all your ores. thats about it.

Lumberjack:
Lumberjack will sell you everything trees. saplings & wood.

fisherman:
you can buy fish from the fisherman, and in the future, you will be able to sell custom fish. the rarer the fish, the more you sell.

Pirate:
The pirate will take you to and from honeycomb isle to beelandias port. essentially a fast travel pass from island to mainland.

Wizard:
The wizard will be able to enchant your items and give you skills. for a price, of course.

Butcher:
You can buy meat.

Farmer:
the farmer will sell you crops.

Meowmeow:
obviously... not a real npc. but it is a reoccurring known bug where our npcs will turn into cats who have cat ai and will just, act like cats. so dont worry about this when you see it, meow.

Regions

each region on the island has a different ore type, along with different ore availability.
there are 14 areas in total, 15 counting the port.
copper, iron, gold, lapis, coal, diamond and emeralds. you will have to explore the land to discover where you wish to stay.
theres not much to say about the regions, so i'll end it here.
